What? The WWVP scheme aims to reduce the risk of harm or neglect to vulnerable people in the ACT. It requires those who work or volunteer with vulnerable people to have a background check to determine an applicant’s suitability to be registered under the scheme. The organisation who is engaging the coach must hold a photocopy of the check for verification of all coaches in their environment, and produce these copies on request by either the Baseball Canberra or Baseball Australia.
